Job Requirements

Must be able to lift 15 lbs
Must be able to stoop, stand and walk continuously
Must be able to move arms and hands in various directions
Must be able to lift and move tables, chairs, boxes and containers
Must be able to use sharp utensils
Prior barista experience
Flexible schedule availability
No formal education required

Be well organized with ability to handle multiple responsibilities and changing priorities
Be a team-oriented individual who enjoys collaborating and communicating effectively
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
Have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, initiative, follow through and sense of timing
Ability to learn and use computerized ordering and billing system
Experience in coffee shop is a plus
Take pride in personal appearance and professional demeanor
Able to handle interruptions and answer questions throughout shift

Job Duties

Prepare incredible quality drinks in a fast and sometimes hectic environment
Produce exceptional quality drip and pour over coffee and espresso drinks with consistent espresso and milk quality
Create latte art on all hot milk drinks
Heat and serve prepared food items
Ensure food and beverage presentation, table settings and surroundings meet customer expectations
Check the floor and tables for cleanliness in the Galleria
Clean and sanitize work areas, seating areas and equipment
Interact with customers to ensure satisfaction and build trusted relationships
Provide additional assistance to customers as needed
Support other Baristas by cleaning, maintaining and restocking stations
Describe and encourage the sale of menu selections
Input data into POS system
Work collaboratively with co-workers to provide high service levels
Follow health and safety sanitation guidelines
