Job Requirements
- Minimum one year of experience in a food service environment
- Proficient verbal and written communication in English
- Ability to handle customer service challenges effectively
- Basic math skills for cash handling and register operation
- Capability to memorize and promote menu items
- Experience with POS systems
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and work in confined spaces
Job Qualifications
- One year of experience working in food service environment
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read, speak, and understand the English language for communication and order taking
- Experience in dealing with customer service problems
- Basic mathematical skills for operating a cash register, making change, totaling guest checks, counting total bank, and preparing cash drops
- Ability to remember, recite, and promote variety of menu items
- Ability to operate a keyboard and point of sale procedures to pre-check an order and close out a check
- Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long periods
Job Duties
- Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner
- Process orders and enter them accurately into the POS system
- Receive payment from the customer and process change
- Serve cold, frozen, and hot drinks as well as a wide variety of food items to guests
- Follow all recipes and practice portion control to prepare, garnish, and present ordered items
- Complete opening, ongoing, and closing checklists as required
- Perform general and specific cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards
- Other duties as assigned
