Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous barista experience preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Basic math skills for money handling
  • Valid state food handler's license
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods

Job Qualifications

  • Previous barista experience in a similar environment strongly preferred
  • Strong customer service skills
  • The ability to clearly and effectively communicate
  • Basic math skills required for accurate money handling
  • Necessary state food handler's license(s)

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
  • Greeting, thanking and delivering excellent guest service
  • Describe menu options and be knowledgeable about beverage products to make appropriate recommendations to guests
  • Money handling, making change and handling credit card transactions
  • Maintain cleanliness of assigned areas and equipment
  • Follow all opening and closing procedures
