Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Food handler certificate required
  • TABC certification required
  • Minimum one year experience as a cashier
  • Must speak, read, and understand English fluently and clearly
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lift and move approximately 15 pounds
  • Ability to perform safety and emergency procedures
  • Ability to bend, squat, kneel, climb, and reach
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions and fine motor skills
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic
  • Ability to read, write, and understand diagrams
  • Ability to sustain direct contact with the public
  • Must establish high customer service standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Food handler certificate required
  • TABC certification required
  • Minimum one year experience as a cashier
  • Prior customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Skilled in using point-of-sale equipment
  • Ability to train new employees

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve hot or cold beverages such as coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and blended coffees
  • Take orders and serve baked goods and sandwiches
  • Describe menu items and suggest products to guests
  • Order, receive, and stock supplies and retail products
  • Provide room service to hotel guests
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the store
  • Upsell and suggest menu items to increase sales
