Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Barista, specialty drink certification or equivalent required
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Ability to follow health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Ability to work full-time rotating shifts including weekends
- Ability to maintain a sanitary work environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Barista, specialty drink certification, or equivalent
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to exchange information on factual matters courteously and tactfully
- Knowledge of medical center policies related to cash handling, food preparation, and safety
- Ability to respond appropriately to customer concerns
Job Duties
- Take coffee, other beverages and food orders accurately
- Prepare and serve beverages and sandwiches and pastries
- Accurately process transactions through POS and while using correct cash handling
- Provide samples when necessary
- Maintain sanitary work environment
- Generate customer satisfaction
- respond quickly and appropriately to customer concerns
- Communicate customer complaints/concerns to manager
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation standards for all products at all times
- Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food, paper goods, and other products to assure a smooth service period
- Handle, store, and rotate all products properly
- Assist in food prep and packing assignments during off-peak periods as needed
- Open and/or close the shop as needed
- Follow the opening/closing checklist, assisting others as needed
- Clean floors, counters, equipment as directed
