Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Food handler certificate required
- TABC required
- Minimum one year of experience as a cashier
- Prior experience in customer service preferred
- Must speak, read, and understand English fluently and clearly
- Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift and move approximately 15 pounds
- Ability to carry out all safety and emergency procedures
- Ability to bend, squat, kneel, climb, and reach daily
- Ability to effectively utilize point of sale equipment
- Ability to perform tasks requiring sustained repetitive motion and fine motor skills
- Ability to work in extreme temperature
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic
- Ability to read and write effectively
- Ability to sustain direct contact with the public and establish a high degree of customer service
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Food handler certificate required
- TABC license required
- Minimum one year of experience as a cashier or in customer service
- Must speak, read, and understand English fluently and clearly
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic including percentages
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to sustain direct contact with the public and offer excellent customer service
- Attend training sessions and assist in training new employees
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve hot or cold beverages such as coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, or teas
- Serve, take orders for baked goods and sandwiches
- Describe menu items to guests or suggest products that might appeal to them
- Order, receive, or stock supplies or retail products
- Provide room service for guests
- Utilize upselling and suggestive selling techniques
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the store including replenishing pastry cases and cleaning brewing equipment
