Job Requirements
- Prior catering cafe and customer service experience
- barista experience is required
- ability to work full-time Monday through Friday with a rotating schedule
- ability to handle cash and POS payments accurately
- ability to maintain food safety and quality standards
- capability to interact positively with customers
- ability to maintain clean and organized work area

Job Duties
- Prepare espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes
- enter orders accurately into POS device
- accept cash and charge payments
- replenish condiments, beverages, and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area
- ensure proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures
- follow HACCP standards
- maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies, and utensils
- ensure proper food preparation by using approved recipes and following prescribed production standards
- keep display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service
- clean equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area for other assignments
- greet customers courteously and interact in a manner to ensure customer satisfaction
- relay relevant concerns from customers to supervisors
- serve customers quickly and efficiently to prevent delays in serving lines
- demonstrate a complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explain them to customers
- advocate selling techniques to customers by establishing good communication and assisting in the buying decision-making process
- ensure all display foods are merchandised attractively per standards
- serve food neatly and attractively per standard
- perform other duties as assigned
