Job Requirements

  • Prior catering cafe and customer service experience
  • barista experience is required
  • ability to work full-time Monday through Friday with a rotating schedule
  • ability to handle cash and POS payments accurately
  • ability to maintain food safety and quality standards
  • capability to interact positively with customers
  • ability to maintain clean and organized work area

Job Qualifications

  • Prior catering cafe experience

  • knowledge of HACCP guidelines
  • basic proficiency with POS systems
  • ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards

  • ability to follow standard recipes and food preparation standards

Job Duties

  • Prepare espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes
  • enter orders accurately into POS device
  • accept cash and charge payments
  • replenish condiments, beverages, and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area
  • ensure proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures
  • follow HACCP standards
  • maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies, and utensils
  • ensure proper food preparation by using approved recipes and following prescribed production standards
  • keep display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service
  • clean equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area for other assignments
  • greet customers courteously and interact in a manner to ensure customer satisfaction
  • relay relevant concerns from customers to supervisors
  • serve customers quickly and efficiently to prevent delays in serving lines
  • demonstrate a complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explain them to customers
  • advocate selling techniques to customers by establishing good communication and assisting in the buying decision-making process
  • ensure all display foods are merchandised attractively per standards
  • serve food neatly and attractively per standard
  • perform other duties as assigned
