Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience as a barista preferred but not required
- ability to operate cash registers accurately
- effective communication and customer service skills
- team-oriented and adaptable
- Starbucks Barista certification may be required at some locations
Job Duties
- Greet customers
- take orders
- mix and serve hot and cold beverages such as coffee
- espresso
- cappuccino
- café latte
- tea
- chai
- fruit blend drinks
- record all sales
- collect cash
- credit card
- electronic payments and operate a cash register
- clean coffee machines
- restaurant areas
- restrooms and preparation areas
- attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
- perform other duties as assigned depending on business necessities and client requirements
