Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to work early morning or mid-shift hours as required
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- willingness to learn and be trained on coffee preparation and customer service
- ability to maintain a positive attitude and work ethic under pressure
- adherence to company policies and safety rules
- reliable attendance and punctuality

- ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced team environment
- ability to communicate effectively through various channels including email and phone
- barista experience not required as training is provided
Job Duties
- present a positive image of PJ's Coffee to customers and coworkers
- proactively suggest new beverages, drink enhancements, snacks, and pastries to customers
- prepare all beverages and food items according to PJ's Coffee specifications
- ensure excellent customer service and maintain store upkeep
- properly follow cash handling procedures
- maintain store cleanliness and safety standards through daily checklists
- report operational needs, equipment issues, and improvements to management
- enforce company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
- attend training sessions to increase coffee knowledge and apply new skills
