Job Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods

- Ability to smell and taste for quality control

- Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Existing food handler's certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Basic math and computer skills
- Passion for coffee, food, and creating inclusive hospitality experiences
- Ability to work reliably with punctuality and consistency
- Strong attention to detail and enthusiasm for honing craft
- Positive can-do attitude and willingness to learn
- Eligibility to work in the United States and at least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Deliver exceptional hospitality to guests, teammates, vendors and suppliers
- Make and serve a variety of delicious coffee beverages using different brewing and preparation methods
- Prepare and serve delicious food
- Stay knowledgeable about current beverage and food offerings through tastings, cuppings, and training
- Taste Blue Bottle beverages regularly to ensure quality and uphold standards
- Create community in cafes by sharing joy and coffee knowledge with guests and inspiring teammates
- Support cafe operations through cleaning, dishwashing, sweeping, dusting, organizing condiment stations, and taking out trash
- Uphold health, food safety, and safety guidelines
- Promote a safe and respectful working environment
- Complete Blue Bottle Academy training and 90-day validation post-hire
