Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
prior customer service experience preferred
ability to stand and walk for long periods
ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds
good communication skills
basic knowledge of safety and security protocols
ability to use point of sale systems
ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
willingness to follow hotel policies and procedures
commitment to professional appearance and confidentiality

Job Qualifications

Prior work experience preferred
excellent customer service skills
familiarity with point of sale systems and barista equipment
good communication and interpersonal skills
ability to work collaboratively in a team
knowledge of food and beverage service procedures
physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods
basic safety and security awareness

Job Duties

Open and close the service area including signage, hours of operation and lighting
serve all food and beverage items
maintain cleanliness of the food area including bussing and re-setting tables, keeping floors clean and overall neatness
greet guests with a smile and engage in small talk, use guest names when possible
inform guests about any specials using proper verbiage
attend to and anticipate guest needs
maintain knowledge of menus, daily specials, and daily drinks
keep barista stand stocked with essentials
complete daily and weekly side work as assigned
close all guest checks
respond to any reasonable tasks assigned by manager
aid guests in locating hotel areas
follow all safety and security policies and procedures
maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
