2-3 years of food service experience required
ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions
ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects
knowledge of food service line setup and temperature requirements
ability to safely use cleaning equipment and supplies
understanding of safety procedures

Job Duties

attends to day-to-day problems and needs concerning equipment and food supplies
detects and ensures disposition of spoiled or unattractive food and defective supplies or equipment
conveys food and supplies from preparation areas to serving sites
follows prescribed procedures in setting up food lines and machines
cleans and maintains work areas including floors, equipment, and utensils
prepares or assists in preparation of various food items
replenishes foods and utensils at serving stations
serves food items to customers ensuring proper portions and presentation
