Job Requirements
- Valid Food Handler's Certification or ability to obtain within 30 days post-hire
- Basic math skills
- Basic computer skills
- Flexible availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Age 18 or older
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Passion for coffee, culinary items, sustainability, and guest service
- Reliable and consistent work ethic
- Excellent hospitality and communication skills
- Basic math and computer skills
- Existing or ability to obtain Food Handler's Certification
- Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Eligible to work in the United States and at least 18 years old
Job Duties
- Deliver exceptional hospitality to guests, fellow teammates, vendors, and suppliers
- Make and serve a selection of beverages using various brewing and preparation methods
- Prepare and serve delicious food items
- Maintain knowledge of current beverage and food offerings through continuous training
- Taste beverages regularly to ensure quality and uphold standards
- Create community in cafes by sharing knowledge and passion for coffee
- Support café operations including cleaning, organizing, and maintaining workspaces
- Promote sustainability and help achieve company-wide goals
- Follow all health, food safety, and safety guidelines
- Foster a safe and respectful working environment
- Complete Blue Bottle Academy training and 90-day post-hire validation
