Job Requirements
- Must have barista experience
- Ability to work Monday through Friday with variable hours
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Must be able to follow food safety and hygiene practices
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Must be reliable and punctual
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous barista experience required
- Knowledge of food safety and HACCP standards
- Ability to operate POS systems
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization
- Positive attitude and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Prepares espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes
- Enters orders accurately into POS device
- accepts cash and charge payments
- Replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area
- Ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures following HACCP standards
- Maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils
- Greets customers courteously and interacts to ensure customer satisfaction
- Demonstrates complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explains them to customers
- Serves customers quickly and efficiently, preventing delays
- Serves food and beverages neatly and attractively per standard
- Cleans equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area
- Performs other duties as assigned
