Job Requirements

  • Ability to work Monday through Friday with variable hours
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
  • Must be able to follow food safety and hygiene practices

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous barista experience required
  • Knowledge of food safety and HACCP standards
  • Ability to operate POS systems
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization
  • Positive attitude and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Prepares espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes
  • Enters orders accurately into POS device
  • accepts cash and charge payments
  • Replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area
  • Ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures following HACCP standards
  • Maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils
  • Greets customers courteously and interacts to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Demonstrates complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explains them to customers
  • Serves customers quickly and efficiently, preventing delays
  • Serves food and beverages neatly and attractively per standard
  • Cleans equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area
  • Performs other duties as assigned
