Job Requirements

Eligible to work in the United States and 18 years of age or older
Existing food handler's certification or will obtain it within 30 days post-hire
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds
Basic math and computer skills
Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Strong communication and listening skills
Commitment to follow health and safety guidelines

Job Duties

Deliver exceptional hospitality to guests, teammates, vendors, and suppliers
Make and serve a selection of delicious beverages using various brewing and preparation methods
Prepare and serve delicious food items
Stay knowledgeable about current beverage and food offerings and preparation techniques through tastings, cuppings, and trainings
Taste Blue Bottle beverages regularly to ensure quality and uphold standards
Create community in cafes by sharing coffee knowledge and joy with guests and teammates
Support café operations by cleaning, organizing, and maintaining condiment stations, dishes, and trash removal
Uphold and follow health, food safety, and safety guidelines
Promote a safe and respectful working environment
Complete Blue Bottle Academy training and 90-day validation post-hire
