Job Requirements

- Barista or specialty drink certification required
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Ability to work part-time, including weekends
- Commitment to upholding health and safety standards

- Ability to exchange information on factual matters, greet visitors, explain medical center policies
- Strong cash handling skills
- Knowledge of food preparation and safety
- Ability to work weekends and part-time
- Experience in customer service environments preferred
Job Duties
- Take coffee, other beverages and food orders accurately
- Prepare and serve beverages and sandwiches and pastries
- Accurately process transactions through POS and while using correct cash handling
- Provide samples when necessary
- Maintain sanitary work environment
- Generate customer satisfaction
- respond quickly and appropriately to customer concerns
- Communicate customer complaints/concerns to manager
- Follows health, safety, and sanitation standards for all products at all times
- Stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food, paper goods, and other products to assure a smooth service period
- Handles, stores, and rotates all products properly
- Assists in food prep and packing assignments during off-peak periods as needed
- Opens and/or closes the shop as needed
- Follows the opening/closing checklist, assisting others as needed
- Clean floors, counters, equipment as directed
