Job Requirements
- Must have one year of customer service experience
- preferred to have at least one year of experience working in a high-volume coffee shop
- preferred previous cash handling experience
- excellent customer service and communication skills
- ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents
- ability to learn and maintain knowledge of certified coffee establishment products and procedures
- ability to bend, twist, walk and stand to perform normal job functions
- ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- ability to perform repetitive motions
- ability to bend, stoop or kneel
- must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
- use of hand dexterity for writing, grabbing, pulling, twisting, shaking

Job Duties
- Provides exceptional customer service
- greets all guests with a smile and friendly disposition while taking food and beverage orders, answers questions about menu items and offers recommendations, calls guests by name, and thanks them for their order before they leave
- prepares and delivers quality beverages and food products consistently to all guests by adhering to recipe and presentation standards
- operates a cash register and receives payment from guests, while following all brand, HMSHost customer service, and cash handling policies and procedures
- keeps the store clean, stocked, organized
- decorates customer display areas so they are aesthetically pleasing and up to brand standards
- follows operational policies and procedures, including those for health & safety and security
