Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- aHA BLS certification
- 1 to 2 years of position-related experience, 2 to 5 years preferred
- clerical and/or scheduling experience in a medical office
- familiarity with medical terminology
- experience in direct customer or patient care services
Job Qualifications

- junior college, technical school, or bachelor’s degree preferred
- aHA BLS certification
- 1 to 2 years of position-related experience required, 2 to 5 years preferred
- knowledge of medical terminology
- experience in clerical and/or scheduling in a medical office
- customer service skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- greet and fulfill process requirements during office appointments
- maintain patient and provider appointment schedules including electronic medical records
- handle incoming calls and direct to appropriate staff
- prioritize calls based on urgency
- work closely with Marshall Health to maintain patient data for billing and compliance
- develop organizational systems to manage multiple tasks
- perform additional duties to support the bariatric program
