Job Requirements

  • One year of experience in related or supportive role preferred
  • food handler certification
  • alcohol awareness certification if applicable
  • ability to prioritize tasks in dynamic environment
  • ability to learn and present product, menu, and allergy information
  • knowledge of restaurant POS system required
  • highly motivated and flexible
  • ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Greet and welcome restaurant guests
  • deliver food promptly and at appropriate temperature
  • deposit dishes in dish-room or specified area
  • clean and set tables according to standards
  • empty trash containers and stock bussing stations
  • learn and maintain product knowledge of food, wine, and beverage menus
  • clean stations including sweeping floors
  • perform buffet set-up and refills
  • assist in room service as needed
  • assist other restaurant personnel when necessary
  • attend required trainings and meetings
  • communicate with staff and management
