Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Less than one year related experience and/or training
  • Ability to read a limited number of two and three syllable words
  • Ability to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers
  • Ability to print and speak simple sentences
  • Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers
  • Ability to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s
  • Ability to perform operations using units of American money, weight measurement, volume, and distance
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two-step instructions
  • Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables
  • Knowledge of internet software
  • Customer service skills

  • Ability to be thorough

Job Duties

  • Assists bartenders with opening and closing of bar
  • Monitors and replenishes ice, fruit, beer, wine, spirits, mixers, and glasses throughout the shift as needed in both the general and VIP areas
  • Responds to bartender calls for bar needs
  • Clears bar and tables as needed
  • Prepares a requisition for bar needs that were depleted during shift
  • Keeps work prep and serving areas clean according to State Board of Health standards
  • Presents a clean and professional appearance at all times
  • Maintains a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times
  • Ensures guest satisfaction by responding to guest inquiries with accurate information and a positive attitude
  • Performs other duties as assigned
