Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Less than one year of related experience or training
  • Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Ability to communicate clearly in simple sentences
  • Physical ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds frequently
  • Ability to stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, talk or hear as required by the job
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl frequently
  • Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus, and ability to see color
  • Ability to work in a noisy and dynamic environment with occasional exposure to extreme cold, heat, wet or humid conditions, and vibration

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Less than one year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read a limited number of two and three syllable words
  • Ability to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers
  • Ability to print and speak simple sentences
  • Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers
  • Ability to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
  • Ability to perform arithmetic using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two-step instructions
  • Ability to deal with standardized situations with occasional or no variables
  • Knowledge of internet software

Job Duties

  • Assists bartenders with opening and closing of bar
  • Monitors and replenishes ice, fruit, beer, wine, spirits, mixers, and glasses throughout the shift as needed in both the general and VIP areas
  • Responds to bartender calls for bar needs
  • Clears bar and tables as needed
  • Prepares a requisition for bar needs that were depleted during shift
  • Keeps work prep and serving areas clean according to State Board of Health standards
  • Presents a clean and professional appearance at all times
