Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in a barback or similar role preferred but not required
  • knowledge of craft cocktails and bar operations a plus
  • strong communication and teamwork skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • attention to detail and organizational skills
  • enthusiasm for learning about mixology and customer service

Job Duties

  • Assist bartenders with stocking and replenishing liquor, beer, wine, mixers, and garnishes
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and workstations
  • ensure bar stations are well-prepped and fully stocked throughout service
  • retrieve and restock ice, clean spills, and remove trash to maintain a safe and sanitary environment
  • support bartenders with basic prep work, such as cutting garnishes and refilling syrups
  • assist with keg changes and other bar maintenance tasks as needed
  • monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages to management
  • follow all health, safety, and responsible alcohol service guidelines
