Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a barback or similar role preferred but not required
- knowledge of craft cocktails and bar operations a plus
- strong communication and teamwork skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- attention to detail and organizational skills
- enthusiasm for learning about mixology and customer service
Job Duties
- Assist bartenders with stocking and replenishing liquor, beer, wine, mixers, and garnishes
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and workstations
- ensure bar stations are well-prepped and fully stocked throughout service
- retrieve and restock ice, clean spills, and remove trash to maintain a safe and sanitary environment
- support bartenders with basic prep work, such as cutting garnishes and refilling syrups
- assist with keg changes and other bar maintenance tasks as needed
- monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages to management
- follow all health, safety, and responsible alcohol service guidelines
