Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Six months experience in food and beverage field
  • Must be able to successfully pass a stringent background investigation
  • Must pass pre-employment and random drug screening
  • Must obtain and maintain a New Mexico Alcohol Server's License upon hire
  • Must be able to lift at least 150 pounds
  • Must be available to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime
  • Must have punctual and regular attendance according to the attendance policy
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment

Job Qualifications

  • Must have six months experience in food and beverage service
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and personal service processes
  • Ability to use Point-Of-Sale systems and handle cash accurately
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to adjust to different people and situations
  • Detail oriented with strong customer service focus
  • Ability to follow written and oral directions
  • Knowledge of basic sanitation standards
  • Maintains the highest standards of personal hygiene
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Must be at least 21 years old

Job Duties

  • Checks and maintains bar equipment such as ice machines, refrigerators, chillers, glass washers, and draft systems
  • Cleans bar equipment and replenishes supplies including liquor, beer, fruit, ice, cups, napkins, and glassware
  • Stocks refrigerating units following FIFO rotation, replaces empty beer kegs using safe lifting techniques, and assists with garnish preparation following health and safety guidelines
  • Informs supervisor of product needs
  • Washes glasses and bar surfaces, polishes fixtures, mops floors, and removes trash
  • Completes computer-assisted training in a timely manner
  • Maintains table cleanliness by removing empty glassware and clearing tables after guests leave
  • Attends pre-shift meetings and communicates daily specials and service issues
  • Ensures responsible alcohol service by checking IDs and refusing service to impaired patrons
  • Serves food items as required
  • Documents incidents and completes temperature logs every shift
  • Cleans and organizes the venue including power washing carts and cleaning floor drains
  • Supports the casino floor drink stations by replenishing supplies and cleaning equipment
  • Assists bartenders and servers during breaks
  • Greets guests in a professional manner
  • Prepares drinks with proper pouring portions using jiggers and wine carafes
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management
