Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of experience in a hotel or related field
- Ability to lift 100 pounds occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds constantly
- Ability to stand for entire shifts
- Flexible to work long hours and varied schedules
- Attentive, friendly, and courteous demeanor
- Ability to follow procedures and maintain safety standards
- Must comply with uniform and grooming policies
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- At least one year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Knowledge of beverages, cocktails, and portion control standards
- Capable of maintaining confidentiality
- Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving skills
Job Duties
- Effectively communicate with employees and guests in a friendly and service-oriented manner
- Listen, understand, and clarify guest and employee concerns
- Multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines
- Attend all required hotel meetings and trainings
- Maintain personal appearance and grooming standards
- Comply with hotel standards and safety regulations
- Receive and manage liquor, beer, and wine inventory daily
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar and service areas
- Replenish beverages during shifts according to hotel standards
- Assist with opening and closing duties at the bar
- Support management in maintaining beverage costs and quality
- Follow prescribed procedures for responsible alcohol service
- Deliver food items to customers while ensuring service standards
- Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times
