Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year progressive experience in hotel or related field
- Ability to stand for entire shift
- Physical strength to lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Flexibility to work long and variable hours
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and guests
- Maintain proper uniform and grooming standards
- Willingness to cross-train in different hotel areas
- Maintain confidentiality
- Attend required training and meetings

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- At least 1 year progressive experience in a hotel or related field required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Familiarity with beverage preparation and hotel mixing portion control
- Knowledge of hospitality safety and operational standards
- Ability to work flexible and long hours
- Physical ability to handle heavy lifting and stand for entire shift
- Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving skills
- Experience in maintaining cleanliness and organization in hospitality settings.
Job Duties
- Communicate effectively with employees and guests in a friendly and service-oriented manner
- Listen to and clarify concerns raised by employees and guests
- Multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance, including wearing proper uniform and nametag
- Comply with Highgate Hotel standards and regulations to promote safe and efficient hotel operations
- Identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions
- Handle problems by anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving them
- Maintain confidentiality of information
- Show initiative by anticipating guest or operational needs
- Perform assigned duties such as receiving liquor, beer, and wine from storeroom
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar, refrigerators, and service areas
- Replenish liquor, beer, and wine during shifts
- Demonstrate knowledge of beverages, cocktails, and portion control
- Assist in opening and closing side-work
- Maintain beverage cost control
- Follow procedures for responsible alcohol service
- Deliver food items according to service standards
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction
- Attend all required hotel meetings and trainings
- Maintain regular attendance per scheduling requirements.
