Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • must possess or be able to complete RBS training and certification for alcohol service
  • must possess or be able to complete ServSafe or food handler's training and certification
  • understanding of bar terminology and alcoholic beverages
  • knowledge of inventory management and restocking procedures
  • proficient in mixology basics

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • must possess or be able to complete RBS training and certification for alcohol service
  • must possess or be able to complete ServSafe or food handler's training and certification
  • understanding of bar terminology and alcoholic beverages
  • knowledge of inventory management and restocking procedures
  • proficient in mixology basics
  • 2+ years barback experience in a high-volume bar atmosphere preferred
  • prior guest service experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Ensure exceptional guest service and teamwork
  • ensure the bar is kept clean
  • stock, store, rotate, and manage bar inventory
  • check identification of guests under the age of 30 to prevent underage service
  • keep glassware, condiments, and fresh garnishes replenished
  • monitor and troubleshoot bar equipment
  • change empty beer kegs and soda bibs
  • empty garbage, glass, and cardboard bins
  • follow alcohol service policies and complete required trainings
  • complete all side work tasks
  • communicate professionally with management on guest issues
  • engage with guests to enhance their experience
  • perform other duties as assigned
