Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year relevant experience required
- Ability to lift 100 pounds occasionally and 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to stand for entire shift
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Willingness to attend all required trainings
- Maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work flexible and long hours
- Adherence to hotel grooming and uniform standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- At least 1 year of experience in hotel or related field
- Knowledge of beverage preparation and portion control
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for long periods
Job Duties
- Help bartender in daily bar operations
- Communicate effectively and courteously with guests and employees
- Listen to and clarify concerns
- Multitask and prioritize tasks
- Attend hotel meetings and trainings
- Maintain personal appearance and grooming standards
- Comply with hotel safety and operational standards
- Identify and solve operational problems
- Cross-train in related hotel areas
- Maintain confidentiality of information
- Show initiative in anticipating needs
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Receive and organize liquor, beer, and wine deliveries
- Clean and organize bar and service areas
- Replenish liquor, beer, and wine as needed
- Be familiar with beverages and cocktail mixing standards
- Assist with opening and closing side work
- Ensure bar cleanliness and tidiness
- Assist in maintaining beverage costs
- Serve alcohol responsibly to avoid issues with intoxicated guests
- Retrieve and deliver food orders to customers
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction
