Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year progressive experience in hotel or related field
- Ability to stand for entire shift
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work flexible and long hours
- Compliance with hotel standards and regulations
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and order
- Must show initiative and problem-solving skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field
- Familiarity with beverages, cocktails, and hotel mixing portion control
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to listen, understand and clarify concerns
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work
- Knowledge of safe alcohol service procedures
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Willingness to cross-train in other hotel areas
- Friendly and courteous demeanor
Job Duties
- Help bartender in daily operation of the bar
- Communicate effectively with employees and guests in a friendly and service-oriented manner
- Multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines
- Attend hotel required meetings and trainings
- Maintain cleanliness of bar, refrigerators, and service areas
- Replenish liquor, beer, and wine during shifts
- Follow procedures for serving alcohol responsibly
- Deliver food items to customers according to service standards
- Assist in opening and closing side-work
- Maintain beverage cost
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction
