Job Requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- Ability to obtain and maintain valid gaming registration
- Ability to obtain and maintain responsible alcohol service certification
- Physical ability to stand or walk for extended periods
- Excellent guest service and communication skills
- Capable of working in environments with dust, secondhand smoke, variable noise and temperature
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Reliable and punctual
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be able to obtain and maintain valid gaming registration
- Must be able to obtain and maintain responsible alcohol service certification
- Ability to be physically mobile and stand or walk for 8 to 12 hour shifts
- Excellent guest service and communication skills
- Must be able to work in environments containing dust, secondhand smoke, varying noise, temperature levels, lighting, vibrations, crowds and air quality
- Must present a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
- Regular and punctual attendance is required
Job Duties
- Maintain and ensure checklist completion including opening and closing procedures
- Maintain beverage stock in supply room and areas
- Deal with high-volume guest interactions while displaying an outgoing and cheerful demeanor
- Stock all bars and beverage stations with supplies and fill ice bins as needed
- Assist bartender with tasks such as cutting fruit, providing change, and offering breaks
- Assume duties of bartenders and servers during breaks
- Adhere to company policy by measuring all drinks using the Berg system or a jigger
- Serve wine, bottled or draft beer, mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for alcohol purchase
- Participate in liquor pull in compliance with gaming commission regulations
- Accurately account for and collect payment for drink orders through POS system
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption by providing responsible alcohol service
- Clean glasses, utensils, bars, mats, trash cans, floors, walls, tables, and bar equipment
- Arrange bottles and glasses to make attractive displays
- Work a flexible schedule including late nights, weekends, and holidays
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- Abide by appearance standards
