Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- Ability to cope with frequent changing priorities and deadlines
- Must be comfortable working in a shared, noisy environment
- Must be able to stand and walk for most of the shift
- Ability to lift and handle items up to 40 pounds

- Ability to respond promptly to guest needs
- English language proficiency
- Ability to work varied schedules including more or less than 40 hours per week

- Hospitality or customer service experience preferred
- Experience in food and beverage operations preferred
- Excellent guest service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and organized under pressure
- Ability to multitask and prioritize duties
- Basic knowledge of wine, beer, and liquor
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to speak clearly in positive or negative situations
- Knowledge of local attractions and activities
- Professional English language skills
Job Duties
- Provide courteous and friendly table service to guests
- Clean bar and equipment thoroughly
- Replenish bar supplies including liquor, fruit, ice, and dishes
- Assist bartending staff as needed
- Stock refrigerating units with wine and bottled beer
- Replace empty beer kegs with full ones
- Slice and pit fruit used for drink garnishes
- Wash and polish glasses, bar, and equipment
- Clear and reset counters and tables
- Assist dining room servers with food and beverage service
- Set tables and serve guests as directed
- Maintain clean menus and tables between servings
- Remove solid linens and replace with clean ones
- Transport dirty dishes to dishwashing station
- Polish silver and glassware
- Present menu, answer guest questions, and make food and beverage suggestions
- Seat guests in the dining room
- Mop floors and remove empty bottles and trash
- Mix and prepare flavors for mixed drinks
- Maintain daily restaurant operations and complete side work
- Keep bar area clean and organized
- Attend required training and department meetings
- Perform other duties as assigned
