Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, holidays, and split days off
- Physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Capability to stand for long periods, walk long distances, bend, and be in constant motion
- Must have Alcohol Certification Card
- Must have Food Handler Safety Training Card
- Must have LVMPD Non-Gaming Work Card
- Must have Pour Card or Nevada Bartender Card
Job Qualifications
- Prior barback experience
- Ability to work rapidly and remain calm during peak periods
- Knowledge of bar positions and product locations
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to follow health and safety regulations
- Effective communication skills for guest interaction
- Certification in Alcohol Handling and Food Safety
Job Duties
- Responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the Sphere Food & Beverage department to ensure a positive guest experience
- Responsible for providing fast, professional, and courteous service to all bartenders
- Must be able to help supervisors and carry product up and down the stairs from the warehouse to the bar locations in a smooth, efficient, and pleasant manner
- Know all bar positions and where all products are housed and ready to transport any/all product at any time when asked to do so
- Must also break down machinery including, but not limited to popcorn machines, drink machines, and coolers
- Responsible for setting up stock and maintain bar areas including break down and cleanup of bar and bar area
- Ensure liquor, garnish, glasses, product, etc. are properly stored and presented
- deliver and distribute ice accordingly
- Help maintain warehouse area according to Sphere standards by following Southern Nevada Department of Health Code
- Provide information to patrons and answer questions/inquiries regarding Sphere facility
