Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess 1+ years previous barback experience
- Hold food handlers' card
- Have state-recognized responsible alcohol certification
- Fluency in English
- Ability to continuously stand, walk, and lift up to 10 pounds
- Ability to frequently bend, squat, reach overhead, and lift up to 20 pounds
- Ability to occasionally kneel and lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work varied shifts including late hours, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to follow company and state safety guidelines
- Ability to perform basic mathematics
Job Qualifications
- 1+ years previous barback experience
- Knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving alcoholic beverages
- Excellent communication skills
- Professional interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English with basic writing skills
- Possess food handlers' card
- Hold state-recognized responsible alcohol certification
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 10 pounds continuously
- Ability to bend, squat, reach overhead, and lift up to 20 pounds frequently
- Ability to kneel and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Knowledge of state liquor laws and company policies
- Good time management and communication skills
Job Duties
- Prepare section so that it is ready at scheduled time
- Follow Cosm's Pillars of Service for each guest
- Help other team members to ensure guest satisfaction
- Perform basic mathematics
- Engage fans, coworkers, and managers positively and professionally
- Ensure guest care from entry to departure
- Be knowledgeable of products, services, promotions, and events
- Follow supervisor directions including additional side work and cleaning
- Adhere to State Liquor laws and company alcohol service policies
- Attend ongoing food, bar, or service trainings
- Comply with all company policies
- Minimize china/glass breakage
- Rotate and stock coolers as required
- Keep alcohol storage areas locked and secure
- Know bar set-up and closing procedures
- Work various shifts including late hours, holidays, and weekends
- Maintain friendly and outgoing demeanor
- Work well in a fast-paced environment
- Work well under pressure
- Demonstrate good time management and communication skills
- Follow company and state safety guidelines
