Job Requirements

  • must be at least 21 years of age
  • high school diploma or ged equivalent preferred
  • prior food & beverage experience helpful but not required
  • familiarity with bar environment preferred
  • must be able to read, speak, and understand english
  • ability to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, and bright lights
  • ability to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment
  • must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy
  • mobility to move easily in outlet and storage areas
  • available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed

Job Duties

  • provides fast, friendly, professional, and responsive customer service
  • adheres to established departmental and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards
  • sets up bars for operation
  • cuts fruit
  • stocks ice
  • empties garbage
  • supports bartender needs
  • ices drink glasses and pours non-alcoholic drinks as needed
  • wipes counter areas, sinks, and floors as required to maintain a clean and safe workstation
  • maintains cleanliness of designated areas as directed in accordance with established health and safety standards
  • maintains par stock levels and orders bar supplies as necessary
  • delivers orders
  • maintains equipment as required in accordance with established guidelines and safety procedures
  • reports any maintenance problems to manager
  • removes and properly disposes of all refuse and debris accumulated in restaurant and service stations in accordance with departmental procedures
  • sorts bottles and corrugated cardboard for recycling
  • resolves service issues according to established guidelines
  • assists with setting up for banquets and private functions
  • stocks beverages and paper products
  • provides positive communication and uses Red Carpet Training skills with every patron and co-worker
  • performs duties in a safe manner
  • reports any potential safety hazards to management staff
  • performs any reasonable, temporarily assigned job duties outside the position’s job description, where in the Company’s judgment, those duties are necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity, or guest service
  • maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters
