Job Requirements
- must be able to explain and demonstrate ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation

- must follow state liquor laws and company policies regarding alcohol service
Job Qualifications
- 1+ years previous Barback experience preferably in a fast-paced full-service establishment
- thorough understanding of mixing, garnishing, and serving alcoholic beverages
- excellent communication and professional interpersonal skills
- fluency in English with the ability to write basic English
- possession of a food handlers' card and state recognized responsible alcohol certification
- legal age to serve alcoholic beverages in accordance with local and state laws
- ability to stand, walk and lift up to 10 pounds continuously
- ability to bend, squat, reach overhead, and lift up to 20 pounds frequently
- ability to kneel and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
Job Duties
- prepares section so that it is ready at scheduled time
- follows Cosm's Pillars of Service for each guest
- helps other team members to ensure guest satisfaction
- engages fans, coworkers, and managers with a positive, friendly, professional approach
- ensures each fan is taken care of upon entering and leaving the building
- knowledgeable of the company’s products, services, current promotions, and events
- follows directions from supervisors including side work and cleaning
- follows state liquor laws and company policies regarding alcoholic beverages
- attends all scheduled food, bar, or service training
- keeps china and glass breakage to a minimum
- rotates and stocks coolers with proper products and amounts
- keeps alcohol storage areas locked and secure
- has thorough knowledge of bar set-up and closing
- works a variety of shifts including late hours, holidays, and weekends
- maintains friendliness and professionalism toward fans, management, and team members
- works well in a fast-paced environment
- demonstrates good time management and communication skills
- follows company and state safety guidelines
