Job Requirements

  • Must have completed Maricopa County and State Liquor training
  • adhere to professional attire and appearance guidelines as set forth in the Employee Handbook
  • appearance must always be neat, clean and professional
  • name badge and proper uniform must be worn at all times
  • must adhere to occupational safety and health practices
  • able to perform duties as Food Runner without assistance

Job Qualifications

  • Previous dining experience preferred
  • good physical condition to lift moderate weights, move quickly, and stand for prolonged periods
  • pleasant personality with effective guest service skills
  • keen attention to detail able to retain service orders and perform service standards
  • well-groomed appearance according to company guidelines
  • knowledge of occupational safety and health practices including use of personal protective equipment

Job Duties

  • Be thoroughly familiar with all standards of proper service etiquette and adhere to these standards throughout guests' dining experience
  • assist servers with general service and removal of completed courses
  • service a twelve-table station without assistance during typical service demand
  • provide water service to tables and replenish throughout service
  • set up and stock service stations in kitchen and dining room and restock stations during service
  • clear and reset dirty tables quickly and quietly after guests depart including breakfast table setup
  • break down bus trays at dishwashing station and assist dishwashers when needed
  • perform post-service duties in kitchen and dining room expediently
  • know table and position numbers and fulfill role as Food Runner as scheduled
  • assist servers to ensure all tables are set to standards
  • work together with other server assistants to ensure optimum efficiency
  • be familiar with emergency safety measures including Heimlich maneuver, CPR, and fire evacuation procedures
