Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to meet physical and scheduling demands of the position including walking standing or lifting heavy items up to 50 pounds for extended periods of time
  • Be punctual and able to observe regular and consistent attendance
  • Experience in backing is preferred but not required

  • Familiarity with bar operations and customer service skills are a plus

Job Duties

  • Assist with opening and closing procedures including restocking the bar with garnishes straws napkins and other necessary supplies
  • Maintain a well-stocked bar by regularly checking inventory levels of ice liquor wine and beer and restocking as needed
  • Inspect taps and appliances to ensure proper functionality making minor repairs or adjustments as necessary and replacing kegs when required
  • Keep the bar area clean and tidy by wiping down surfaces sweeping and mopping floors removing soiled glassware scrubbing coolers and storage areas and emptying trash receptacles regularly
  • Follow sanitation protocols to maintain a hygienic environment and prevent contamination
  • Familiarize yourself with menu items and cocktail recipes and be prepared to answer customer questions and provide recommendations
  • Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner addressing inquiries helping and ensuring a positive guest experience
