Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- 21 plus years of age
- Possession or ability to obtain all required state work cards
- Ability to maintain a professional and neat appearance
- Knowledge of bar and restaurant operations
- Knowledge of liquor, beer, and wine brands
- Knowledge of drink recipes and garnish preparation
- Proper lifting techniques
- Ability to work in indoor and/or outdoor areas
- Ability to withstand variations in temperature
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 20 pounds, bending, stooping, climbing, and reaching
- Ability to stand and move during shift
- Ability to work varied shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to handle environmental factors such as second-hand smoke, excessive noise, and flashing lights
- Willingness to comply with all safety and health regulations
- Schedule may exceed 30 hours per week
- Constant contact with guests and team members required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance
- Knowledge of basic bar and restaurant operations
- Familiarity with liquor, beer, and wine brand names
- Understanding of drink recipes and proper garnish and presentation
- Proper lifting techniques
- Inventory and stock rotation knowledge
- Experience in high-volume bar or nightlife operations
- Ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication skills
- Teamwork and guest service orientation
Job Duties
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a courteous and polite manner
- Maintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through work area throughout shift
- Provide professional and friendly guest services
- Adhere to all TC Restaurant Group Standard Operating Procedures
- Keep bar top clean and free of dirty glasses, ashtrays, trash
- Keep back bar clean and organized
- Ensure nightly, weekly, opening, running, and closing duties are completed
- Maintain opening/closing liquor, beer, wine, and consumables par
- Ensure proper rotation of liquor, beer, wine, and consumable items
- Clean spills and waste immediately
- Sweep and mop as needed
- Place trash in proper receptacles
- Assist with loading/unloading equipment, boxes, food, and beverage products
- Ensure all stocking is complete and report any shortages
- Polish and wash glassware throughout shift
- Prepare mixes and garnishes
- Recognize and acknowledge potentially intoxicated guests
- Monitor and report disruptive guests to management
- Comply with safety and health department procedures
- Comply with state and federal liquor laws
- Report incidents of theft, vandalism, violations, or guest complaints
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
