Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • six months experience in food and/or beverage field
  • able to successfully pass a stringent background investigation
  • must pass pre-employment and random drug screening
  • must obtain and maintain a New Mexico Alcohol Server's License
  • willing to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, holidays, split shifts, and overtime
  • able to lift at least 150 lbs
  • capable of performing physical activities such as balancing, climbing, crawling, crouching, feeling, finger dexterity, grasping, hearing, kneeling, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, seeing, walking, sitting, standing, stooping, and talking
  • able to work indoors and outdoors under varying conditions

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • six months experience in food and/or beverage field
  • high school diploma, GED certification, or equivalent preferred
  • knowledge of equipment and POS systems
  • ability to provide customer service and interpersonal skills
  • ability to follow written and oral directions
  • knowledge of basic sanitation requirements
  • ability to maintain safe work environment
  • ability to accurately handle cash transactions
  • ability to lift and perform physical tasks
  • ability to work collaboratively with team
  • capable of multitasking in fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Checks equipment and reports problems to supervisory team
  • cleans bar equipment and replenishes bar supplies
  • stocks refrigerating units using FIFO rotation system and assists with preparing garnish
  • informs supervisor of additional products needed
  • washes glasses and cleans bar areas
  • completes computer-assisted training timely
  • maintains tables by removing empty glassware and clearing tables after guests depart
  • attends pre-shift meetings regarding specials and promotions
  • ensures products are properly secured and stored
  • upholds responsible alcohol service requirements including ID checks
  • serves food items as required
  • completes incident documentation daily
  • records temperature logs every shift
  • ensures cash registers are kept clean
  • removes trash and cleans venue
  • performs other duties as assigned
  • cleans casino floor equipment and storage rooms
  • replenishes supplies on casino floor
  • participates in daily stand-up meetings
  • puts away alcohol orders in the absence of barback
  • assists with coverage for bartenders and servers during breaks
  • greets guests pleasantly
  • prepares drinks according to recipe
  • presents drinks to guests or servers
  • punctual and regular attendance according to policy
