Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Six months experience in food and/or beverage field
  • Preferred high school diploma or GED
  • Must pass stringent background investigation
  • Must pass pre-employment and random drug screenings
  • Must obtain and maintain New Mexico Alcohol Server’s License
  • Ability to lift up to 150 pounds
  • Must be able to work variable shifts including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime
  • Ability to follow attendance policy and maintain punctual, regular attendance
  • Ability to perform physical activities including balancing, climbing, crawling, crouching, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, seeing, walking, sitting, standing, stooping, and talking
  • Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments with temperature extremes and inclement weather conditions

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Six months experience in food and/or beverage field
  • Knowledge of equipment operation and POS systems
  • Understanding of customer service principles
  • Ability to make repeated finger and hand movements
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects safely
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain safety and sanitation standards
  • Detail oriented with customer service focus
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team
  • Ability to follow written and oral directions
  • Maintains high personal hygiene standards
  • Ability to deal professionally with the public
  • Ability to monitor and intervene in alcohol consumption
  • Preferred high school diploma or GED
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Checks equipment and reports problems
  • Operates and maintains bar equipment and utensils
  • Cleans bar equipment and replenishes bar supplies
  • Stocks refrigerating units using FIFO rotation
  • Replaces empty beer kegs using safe lifting techniques
  • Assists with garnish preparation using proper food handling
  • Informs supervisor of product needs
  • Washes glasses and bar area
  • Polishes bar fixtures and floors
  • Removes empty bottles and trash
  • Completes computer training timely
  • Maintains tables by clearing empty glassware
  • Attends pre-shift meetings
  • Ensures products are properly stored
  • Upholds responsible alcohol service standards
  • Serves food items as needed
  • Completes incident documentation daily
  • Maintains temperature logs
  • Cleans cash registers
  • Removes trash and dirty items to proper bins
  • Maintains and cleans venue including power washing
  • Cleans casino floor equipment and storage rooms
  • Replenishes supplies on casino floor
  • Stocks soda bibs and replaces empty ones
  • Participates in daily meetings
  • Puts away alcohol orders when barback is absent
  • Assists with bartender and server coverage during breaks
  • Greets guests professionally
  • Prepares drinks with proper portions and presentation
  • Performs other duties as assigned
