Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Minimum six months experience in food or beverage field
- Must pass stringent background check
- Must pass pre-employment and random drug screenings
- Must obtain and maintain New Mexico Alcohol Server's License
- Ability to lift at least 150 lbs
- Availability to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, split shifts, and overtime
- Must have punctual and regular attendance
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors with exposure to temperature extremes and hazards
- Physical ability for activities such as balancing, climbing, crawling, crouching, finger dexterity, grasping, hearing, kneeling, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, seeing, walking, sitting, standing, stooping, and talking
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Minimum six months experience in food or beverage field
- Ability to use equipment and Point-Of-Sale programs including cash handling
- Knowledge of customer service principles
- Ability to perform fast repeated finger and hand movements
- Ability to exert muscle force for lifting, pushing, pulling according to safety guidelines
- Monitors guest alcohol consumption and intervenes as per guidelines
- Responsible for accurately tendering and presenting checks
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to handle difficult situations
- Detail oriented with strong customer service focus
- Ability to follow written and oral directions
- Ability to maintain a safe work environment
- Knowledge of basic sanitation as per Indian Health Services
- Maintains highest standard of personal hygiene
- Able to deal professionally with public and attentive to customer needs
Job Duties
- Check equipment such as ice machine, refrigerator, chillers, glass washers, draft system and report problems to supervisory team
- Operate and maintain all equipment and utensils as required in accordance with guidelines and safety procedures
- Clean bar equipment and replenish supplies including liquor, beer, fruit, ice, cups, napkins, and glassware
- Stock refrigerating units with product using FIFO rotation system and replace empty beer kegs safely
- Inform supervisor of additional products needed
- Wash glasses, bar tops, polish fixtures, mop floors, and remove empty bottles and trash
- Complete computer assisted training on time
- Maintain table cleanliness by removing empty glassware during service and clearing tables after guests depart
- Attend pre-shift meetings regarding daily specials, service issues, and promotions
- Secure and store all products properly
- Ensure responsible alcohol service including checking patron IDs and refusing service to impaired guests
- Serve food items as required
- Complete incident documentation daily
- Complete temperature logs every shift
- Maintain cleanliness of cash registers
- Remove trash, cardboard, mop heads, and dirty rags at shift end
- Maintain and clean the venue including power washing rolling carts, mats, and trash cans
- Sweep and mop venue and storage rooms
- Clear floor and ice machine drains
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- Clean casino floor equipment, drains, and storage room
- Replenish casino supplies like ice, cups, napkins, soda bibs
- Stock casino refrigeration units and replace empty soda bibs
- Participate in daily stand up meetings
- Put away alcohol orders for bars in absence of barback
- Assist coverage for bartenders and servers during breaks
- Greet and welcome guests professionally
- Prepare drinks with proper portions and ingredients
- Present drinks to guests or servers as required
- Ensure punctual and regular attendance as per schedule
