Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Six months experience in food or beverage field
  • Must pass a stringent background investigation
  • Must pass pre-employment and random drug screenings
  • Must obtain and maintain New Mexico Alcohol Server's License
  • Ability to lift at least 150 pounds
  • Must have punctual and regular attendance
  • Ability to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, split shifts, and overtime
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors under temperature extremes and inclement weather
  • Ability to perform physical activities including balancing, climbing, crawling, crouching, feeling, finger dexterity, grasping, hearing, kneeling, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, seeing, walking, sitting, standing, stooping, and talking

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Six months experience in food or beverage field
  • Knowledge of customer service principles
  • Ability to operate POS systems
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Detail oriented with customer service focus
  • Ability to maintain a safe work environment
  • Knowledge of basic sanitation standards
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions
  • Ability to interact professionally with the public

Job Duties

  • Check equipment and report problems
  • Operate and maintain all equipment and utensils according to guidelines
  • Clean bar equipment and replenish supplies
  • Stock refrigerating units using FIFO system
  • Replace empty beer kegs using safe lifting
  • Assist with preparing garnishes using food safety procedures
  • Inform supervisor of product needs
  • Wash glasses, bar tops, and counters
  • Mop floors and remove trash
  • Complete computer assisted training on time
  • Maintain tables by removing empty glassware and clearing after guests
  • Attend pre-shift meetings
  • Secure and store all products properly
  • Uphold responsible alcohol service requirements
  • Serve food items as required
  • Complete incident documentation daily
  • Maintain temperature logs for every shift
  • Clean cash registers
  • Remove trash and clean venue
  • Clean and power wash rolling carts and floor mats
  • Sweep and mop venue and storage rooms
  • Clear floor and ice machine drains
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Clean casino floor equipment and storage rooms
  • Replenish casino floor supplies
  • Stock refrigerating units and replace soda bibs
  • Participate in daily stand up meetings
  • Put away alcohol orders for bars
  • Assist with coverage for bartenders and servers during breaks
  • Greet and welcome guests professionally
  • Prepare drinks with proper pouring and ingredients
  • Present drinks to guests or servers
  • Ensure punctual and regular attendance per policy
