Job Requirements

  • Food Handlers card required
  • High school diploma preferred
  • Must be able to speak and comprehend English
  • Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 20 pounds without assistance

Job Duties

  • Set up bar and bar area according to Terranea's standards
  • consistently keep the restaurant/bar organized and clean
  • set up trash cans, soda, plates, utensils, and to-go containers at start of shift
  • pick up soiled plates and beverages and place into bus tubs
  • ensure full bus tubs get brought back into the kitchen
  • maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc., throughout the day
  • set up heat lamps or umbrellas per a guests request
  • complete closing duties, including restocking items, turning off lights, etc.
  • ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
  • welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
  • anticipate and address guests' service needs
  • speak with others using clear and professional language
  • ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
  • move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 20 pounds without assistance
  • perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors
  • adhere to departmental policies and procedures
  • effectively communicate with peers, management, line and front of the house employees
  • be responsible for the cleanliness of the immediate work area as well as the general property
  • subscribe to proper grooming, dress and uniform standards as set forth by company policy
  • be courteous to all guests and coworkers
