Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- one plus years of experience as a barback in a high volume, upscale hotel or lounge environment
- ability to stand, stoop, bend and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds repetitively during entire shift
- certifications such as certified food service manager or TIPS required
- ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- effective communication and organizational skills
- knowledge of popular alcoholic beverages and cocktail recipes
- regular attendance
- compliance with hotel uniform and grooming standards
- ability to perform physical and mental effort requirements
Job Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of wine and spirits and food
- polite, friendly and helpful to guests, management and fellow employees
- exceptional guest service skills

- effective leadership, management, organizational and communication skills

Job Duties
- Provide support to bartender and beverage server by stocking service areas and maintaining supplies
- participate in monthly inventory
- stock and maintain supplies in all service areas
- inspect and prepare service ware prior to use
- assist server by removing soiled glasses and plates during high volume
- clean and stock glassware
- maintain cleanliness and sanitary conditions of lounge and service areas
- assist in post shift clean up and side work duties
- maintain organized storage space
- attend all required training sessions and meetings
