Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • 21+ years of age
  • possession of or ability to possess all state-required work cards
  • professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance according to company standards
  • ability to operate communication applications
  • knowledge of bar and restaurant operations
  • knowledge of liquor, beer, and wine brand names
  • basic knowledge of drink recipes and garnish preparation
  • ability to use proper lifting techniques
  • ability to handle indoor and outdoor work environments
  • ability to withstand exposure to high and low temperatures
  • capability to work in noisy and small spaces
  • ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 20 pounds, bending, stooping, climbing, and reaching
  • constant contact with guests and team members
  • availability to work over 30 hours per week and overtime as approved
  • willingness to work varied shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to handle environmental factors such as second-hand smoke, noise, strobe lights, and stress in fast-paced settings

Job Qualifications

  • ability to operate business communication applications like email and chat
  • understanding of inventory and stock rotation
  • experience or entry-level knowledge of high-volume bar, restaurant, and nightlife operations
  • ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards

Job Duties

  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a courteous and polite manner
  • maintain line of sight and atmosphere control by circulating through work area
  • provide professional and friendly guest services
  • adhere to all TC Restaurant Group standard operating procedures
  • keep bar top clean and free of dirty glasses, ashtrays, and trash
  • keep back bar clean and organized
  • ensure nightly, weekly, opening, running, and closing duties are completed
  • maintain opening and closing liquor, beer, wine, and consumables par
  • ensure proper rotation of all liquor, beer, wine, and consumable items
  • clean all spills and waste immediately
  • sweep and mop as needed
  • place all trash in proper receptacles
  • assist with loading and unloading of miscellaneous equipment
  • ensure all stocking is complete and report any stock shortages
  • polish and wash glassware throughout the shift
  • prepare all mixes and garnishes
  • recognize and acknowledge when guests are becoming intoxicated or are intoxicated
  • monitor potentially intoxicated or disruptive guests and promptly notify management
  • comply with all safety and health department procedures and company policies
  • comply with all state and federal liquor laws
  • report incidents of theft, vandalism, violations, or guest complaints
  • perform other job-related duties as assigned
