Job Requirements

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Current, legal, and unrestricted ability to work in the United States
  • High school or equivalent education
  • Valid Food Service Handler Card and TABC certification valid for at least 6 months
  • Lift and carry 50 lbs
  • Stand for 8-10 hours
  • Communicate clearly in verbal and written English
  • Bend, squat, and stretch in limited spaces
  • Work in varying conditions of cold, heat, smoke, and sound
  • Follow proper safety precautions
  • Maintain neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
  • Comply with all safety, health department, state and federal laws
  • Adhere to hotel policies including attendance, safety, and behavior

Job Qualifications

  • Current, legal, and unrestricted ability to work in the United States
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • High school or equivalent education
  • Valid Food Service Handler Card
  • Valid TABC certification
  • Knowledge of mixing a variety of drinks
  • Preferred 1-2 years experience in a full-service restaurant or lounge
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule

Job Duties

  • Support bartenders with pre-shift prep, post-shift close, and in-shift maintenance
  • Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organized work environment including stocking supplies, washing and polishing glassware, folding napkins, cleaning menus, sanitizing tables
  • Stock the bar according to company guidelines regarding liquor requisition
  • Explain basic details of food dishes and beverages to guests at delivery
  • Prepare basic non-alcoholic beverages such as water, coffee, tea
  • Be knowledgeable of bar organization and location of items
  • Prep the bar daily, maintain it during shifts, and clean it nightly
  • Adhere to company standards regarding food and beverage knowledge
  • Engage guests positively and provide extraordinary guest experience
  • Verify guests are of legal drinking age by checking ID
  • Utilize communication channels to stay updated on service, safety, and operational protocols
  • Identify and limit waste to promote efficiency
  • Maintain professionalism and respect in communication
  • Keep accurate work schedules and time records
  • Follow all house policies and standards
  • Promote a respectful work atmosphere
  • Perform proper changeover, opening, and closing duties
  • Maintain accountability to kitchen standards and prep recipes
  • Participate in seamless operation between BOH and FOH staff
  • Maintain SNHD Food Handler's card during shifts
  • Follow health and safety protocols during equipment operation and food handling
  • Report health and safety issues to leadership timely
  • Contribute to successful health inspections
  • Post/share digital marketing on social media weekly
  • Perform other duties as assigned
