Job Requirements
- must adhere strictly to The Setai grooming and uniform standards, including clean, pressed uniform and polished appearance
- professional demeanor and respectful attitude at all times
- commitment to maintaining a refined and discreet presence consistent with a luxury hospitality environment
- knowledge of bar setup, tools, and basic beverage operations preferred
- understanding of hygiene, safety, and alcohol service regulations
- must comply with all company policies and Forbes Travel Guide standards
Job Qualifications
- previous experience as a barback or in a high-volume, luxury food and beverage environment preferred
- ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- strong teamwork and communication skills
- ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks required for the role
Job Duties
- support bartenders during service by ensuring all bar stations are fully stocked and organized at all times
- replenish liquor, wine, beer, mixers, garnishes, glassware, ice, and bar supplies
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, back bar, storage rooms, and equipment
- polish and restock glassware according to The Setai's presentation and cleanliness standards
- assist with opening and closing procedures, including setting up and breaking down the bar
- remove empty bottles, trash, and recyclables promptly and discreetly
- follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines in compliance with local regulations and Forbes standards
