Job Requirements

  • must be at least 21 years of age
  • ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed with a flexible schedule
  • one to two years experience in a restaurant environment preferably in busser, runner, or barback position
  • effective communication skills
  • commitment to deliver an outstanding customer experience
  • ability to sit and/or stand for long periods and work on a computer for extended periods
  • ability to lift up to 55 lbs
  • willingness to work in various environments including indoors and outdoors, warm and cold climates, high places, wet surfaces, and near loud noise, fumes, moving mechanical parts, and lift truck traffic

Job Duties

  • help the bartender set up the bar for service including getting ice and setting up the service wells
  • slice and prepare garnish ensuring backups are available
  • restock the bar with beer rotating products so cold beer is at the front and new stock at the back, as well as liquor, glassware, juices, and other supplies
  • heat cider, water, and tea for hot drinks and refill during service
  • ensure all bar items and backups are ready for the shift
  • stock other bar necessities such as lemonade and bar towels
  • maintain cleanliness of the bar before opening and during service
  • wash and buff glasses and return them to the correct locations
  • change liquor bottles when needed and recycle empties
  • prepare fresh squeezed juices and syrups to ensure smooth and efficient service
