Job Requirements
- Food Handlers certification
- TABC certification
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Basic physical stamina to perform lifting and carrying duties
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in barback or similar role preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and alcohol beverage regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Basic understanding of bar equipment and supplies
- TABC certification preferred
Job Duties
- Assist bartenders with monitoring and coordinating daily bar operations
- Ensure all Front of House Standard Operating Procedures (FOH SOPs) are followed including HACCP protocols
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar area
- Stock bar with necessary supplies and replenish as needed
- Support bartenders in delivering prompt and friendly service
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs to management
- Assist in opening and closing bar duties
