Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous bar experience preferred
- Must successfully complete Serv Safe training certification course
- Read, write legibly, understand and speak English
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Available to work required schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed
- Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy
- Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues
- Able to work in constricting areas
- Able to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise and bright lights
- Able to work at a fast pace in often crowded and noisy environment
- Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs., and perform varied physical activities such as bending, twisting, stooping, stacking, crouching, kneeling, and balancing when performing job duties in varying work areas
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have acceptable driving history as determined by company auto insurance carrier
- Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations

Job Duties
- Provides fast, friendly, professional service to casino guests, beverage servers and bartenders
- Monitors guest consumption of alcohol and intervenes as needed according to guidelines
- Serves as ambassador of goodwill while working and at customer and public relations functions
- Promotes casino events and programs
- Provides personalized service and uses guest name
- Resolves service problems according to guidelines
- Works well with others, especially beverage servers, bartenders, other barbacks, beverage supervisors, and casino supervisors
- Maintains par levels of operating supplies and equipment for each bar obtaining replacement stock from warehouse inventory in accordance with procedure
- Places liquors, fruits, glassware, linen, silverware, paper supplies and sundries in their designated places following established storage guidelines and safety procedures
- Replaces empty draught beer kegs as may be required
- Slices and pits fruit, and fills ice bins with crushed or cubed ice from designated ice machines
- Operates and maintains all equipment and utensils as required in accordance with established guidelines and safety procedures
- Removes and properly disposes of all debris accumulated at the bar in accordance with department procedures
- Wipes counter areas, sinks and floors as required to maintain a clean and safe work station
- Maintains cleanliness of designated areas as directed in accordance with established health and safety standards
