Job Duties

  • Complete opening and closing duties including setting up supplies and tools
  • clean all equipment and areas
  • lock doors at end of shift
  • check with captain or supervisor before leaving
  • set up, stock, and maintain work areas
  • stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies
  • remove soiled wares from bar top and tables
  • maintain cleanliness and condition of bar, tables, and tools
  • follow company safety and security policies and procedures
  • report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to manager
  • complete safety training and certifications
  • maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
  • welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards
  • anticipate and address guests' service needs
  • assist guests with disabilities
  • speak clearly and professionally
  • develop positive working relationships
  • support team to reach goals
  • ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
  • read and verify information in various formats
  • stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • move and handle objects up to 50 pounds
  • maneuver over uneven or slippery surfaces
  • perform duties as requested by supervisors
